Dr. Jean is one of my favorite teachers that use songs to help students learn new things. I found this video on a blog that I am following and the song has been stuck in my head! I can't wait to share this with my students this fall.
And now my boys are staring at me from across the room as I replay and do the hand gestures. Headphones in, they don't have the audio... Thanks for posting!
Hey! It was so nice to meet you at the math workshop! Your blog looks great, and I love your video. The kids love Dr. Jean, maybe I can use this in my classroom as well. Thank you!
My name is Jodi Evans and I am a Kindergarten teacher. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 11 years. Nine of those years have been at Bertha Barber Elementary. We are a one unit school so I am the only K teacher in the building. I love working with kids and love my job.

Enjoyed your video! I would love to see your students dance with Dr. Jean. Great way to learn about fruits and vegetables.
I didn't even know one could peel a mango. So I have learned something new. Wish I had had a teacher like Dr. Jean. Thank you for posting this video.
GUAC-a-mol-e...GAUC GAUC a-mol-e. That was my favorite one! I can see the preschoolers I work with just "eating" this up. Thanks!
